How to use Ecocal:
Ecocal can be applied with a brush (none plastic) or low pressure sprayer for larger areas. Once you’ve applied Ecocal it will immediately start reacting with the stain. Let Ecocal soak until the foaming has stopped (approx. one minute). Then rinse the remains off thoroughly with lots of water during the next 10/15 minutes. Use a hose or even better would be a high pressure washer.
This process might take up to a few times before the stains are gone. Thus, if necessary repeat this process and with tough stains, a wire brush is a handy tool to use also.
Using Ecocal on a wall/facade with grout which contains aluminum, you might consider diluting Ecocal 1:40 with water.
Note: sometimes the chemical composition of the limescale does not react with Ecocal. Therefor the white stains will not completely disappear. Ecocal has a tendency to work well on calcareous stone and mortar/grout.
Depending on how much limescale is present on the facade, it could happen that it returns on a later date. Therefore, it is wise to at least protect the wall/facade by waterproofing it with Oppercon. Oppercon contributes to suppress the saltpeter formation from returning from the inside out and also making the facade/wall water- and dirt repellent.

How much Ecocal do you need:
Depending on tenacity of the stain, ½ litre is sufficient for an average 44 ft2.
